Thank you so much to everyone who responded! I am very happy to have managed to do this and I definitely would not have figured it out on my own.Download League of Legends Wild Rift on iOS ![]() And from then on, it works like a charm! I'll link a video of me setting up the correct path for the RiotClientServices.exe file, in hopes of this helping someone. If the only options coming up are "riot games" and "exit", just choose "riot games" and the next time you'll right click, the league of legends option will be there. Right click and pick "League of legends". After that, save and try to run lol from Lutris again and the Riot Client will pop up on the tray again. Basically you wanna redirect Lutris to the "RiotClientServices.exe" file. Click on the Game Options tab and change the path for "Executable" to: home/deck/Games/league-of-legends/drive_c/Riot Games/Riot Client/RiotClientServices.exe. I open up Lutris, click on League of Legends, which shows up as a game in Lutris' library now, and next to the "Play" button, I click on the arrow and then "configure". So, I right click the Riot tray icon, exit, and then Lutris comes up with a message along the lines of "the installation might not be complete. I'm linking a pic of the error popup and the app crashing when I press the "show details" button plus the app looping eternally when I try to close it: įINAL UPDATE: I got LoL to work! What I did was: I followed the video guide on installing LoL through Lutris up until the point where the Lutris installation completes and then the Riot Client suddenly minimizes to tray. Is there anyone here that has any idea how this can be solved and can explain in a simple way? I can't find what I've done wrong and I can't find a solution online that either works for me or I can understand how to get to. I tried clicking the button reading "Show Details", but then Wine crashes and gives me the same error popup all over again. That's where I'm encountered with the error "The program RiotClientUxRender.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close". I'm following this guy's guide step by step on YouTube and all is good up until the part where I have to run the LoL.sh executable and let wine do its thing. I've been trying to get league to install on my new steam deck and it's kinda giving me a hard time. We know spam when we see it and will delete it.
